Tructyre ATS, the national specialist in truck tyre maintenance and emergency support, is creating 80 new jobs at its Customer Experience Centre in Gateshead.
The new centre will be the main call handling and administration office for Tructyre ATS, dealing with truck operators from around the UK and supporting the company’s substantial fleet of mobile tyre technicians.
Tructyre ATS already employs 30 people in its current Gateshead office, and the region was chosen for the new Customer Experience Centre to significantly expand on its existing successful operation in the area.
Nick Harley, Managing Director of Tructyre ATS, said:
“Our new Customer Experience Centre will provide an industry-leading experience for the nation’s truck operators. And with the UK economy impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic, this will provide a much-needed boost for Gateshead.”
