Rob Sisson hailing from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, has been handpicked by Rotary as one among a dozen young volunteers slated to partake in the forthcoming International Climate Summit COP28 in Dubai.
His selection highlights his active involvement in environmental sustainability initiatives. The 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference or Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, more commonly referred to as COP28, will be held from 30 November until 12 December 2023, at the Expo City, Dubai.
A member of the Tyneside Rotaract Club and a committed volunteer, Sisson has contributed to numerous environmental projects, such as litter picks and nature reserve management. His achievements include co-founding a software company aiding social enterprises, creating an award-winning flood management solution, and providing pro-bono consultancy for impact-driven organizations. Additionally, in his role as a philanthropy consultant, he has helped distribute funds for addressing financial hardships and is launching ‘The Generous’ magazine to highlight global impact efforts.
