We caught up with Lina, who’ll be supporting Little Mix tonight at the Newcastle Metro Arena.

Who is Lina? Tell us about yourself?
My name is LINA and I’m here to rock your playlist!
I’m a singer/songwriter, US born, Palestinian blood, and Israeli citizen. Winner of The Voice Israel, a music lover, a stage addict and a hardworking dreamer. If you want to know more you have to watch me live!
What type of music can the people of Newcastle expect from you?
Pop accompanied with ethnic, electronic, and rock flavors.
I usually like to call it LINA style of music since. I try to bring the most of myself to my music.
Where are you from?
From a BEAUTIFUL, ancient city called Acre (Akka/Akko) in Northern Israel, which has an amazing history.
If you ever visit there- let me know! I’ll tell you where to get the best Hoummus in the world.
When did you get into music?
I loved music since a very young age. My first piano lesson was when I was 5 years old. I LOVED classical music.. (so nerdy of me! ha ha) and the first time I sang in front of people was pretty late- when I was 16. Since then- I’ve become an addict and can’t live without being on stage!
You’re supporting Little Mix on the Glory Days tour, how excited are you to reach a huge UK wide audience? And what are you looking forward to most about the tour?
I’m the most excited person on planet earth! I’ve been performing across the UK for a while now, including the amazing Northern Pride 2017!
The UK crowd is loving and fun, one of the best crowds I got to witness. I love Little Mix and their music and to perform at this incredible tour with them is a dream!!!!
What am I looking forward to?…
Of course to be on the stage and sing and the meet and greets! After every performance of mine I will be meeting Mixers backstage. Can’t wait to hug all of them! They’ve been so loving and supportive since I’ve been announced as Little Mix’s main supporting act.

Tell us about the Newcastle date and how people can get tickets?
