The Miss England Contest organisers have teamed up with Flawless Photography & Makeover Studios in Middlesbrough to find Finalists from the North East for the next Miss England Final.

Director “Angie Beasley” & Choreographer “Lisa Powell” are looking for contestants aged 16-26 to apply to make sure the area is represented in the next final which looks like it will be virtual too.

The last final was held in the North East with the Gainford Group in Newcastle in August 2019. Miss Newcastle 2018 Rebecca Gormley won the Bare Face Top Model round and reached the top 5. Rebecca went on to star in ITV’s Love Island. NHS Junior Doctor Bhasha Mukherjee won the Miss England title in Newcastle & went onto Miss World. Although Bhasha didn’t win, she’s gone down in history as the longest-serving Miss England EVER and she still holds the title!

“Things have changed for everyone since we were in Newcastle,” said Angie.
“Currently we are running as a virtual contest on the Miss England App & also have Flawless as our new photographic partner. Once lockdown is over and the studio can re-open, all contestants from the area will be invited for a free photoshoot at the studio. We are looking for contestants from Teeside, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Cleveland and anywhere in the North East“

Flawless has been in business for 15 years and is now the largest photography & makeover studio in the North of England. With glamorous studios in Middlesbrough, Manchester & Leeds.

Flawless was created to offer job opportunities to women and to capture the inner emotion & outer body confidence of their customers through the camera lens. Empowering women is a key passion of the CEO who employs an all-female studio team.

“It has been a difficult year for everyone and this will really give North East contestants who apply a much-needed boost in self-confidence & will also lift everyone’s’ spirits,” says Sanchia, CEO from Flawless.

So far from the North East, only 1 contestant has managed to reach the final which was postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic. 101 Call Handler Olivia Bulmer is representing Durham in the final.

A public vote is then held on the Miss England App. The shortlist will then be invited to a Zoom call with the current Miss England winner!

Flawless Photography Studios is looking forward to welcoming the contestants into the studio once everywhere opens up.
