Parkinson’s UK’s Garden Gathering fundraiser is encouraging friends and family to celebrate the summer their way with a fun-filled fundraiser – whether it’s with tea and cake, or cocktails and a BBQ. The money raised from the events will go towards Parkinson’s UK’s pioneering research to help end Parkinson’s forever.
Local supporter Denise Bailey is calling on other local people to get involved and hold a Garden Gathering themselves.
Denise said;
“I have Parkinson’s and my family wanted to support. We decided to hold a Garden Gathering summer BBQ to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s UK.
It was easy to organise and we had a wonderful afternoon with friends and family playing games, eating and being merry. We are delighted to have raised £112 to help people like me living with Parkinson’s.”
