After what has been a tough 18 months for us all, this winter we are looking to supply a
warm meal and some festive joy to those in real need with our 2021 Christmas Feed a
Friend for a Fiver campaign.

The People’s Kitchen – ‘Feed A Friend For A Fiver’

At The People’s Kitchen, demand has risen astronomically since the beginning of the
pandemic. The kitchen, ran entirely by unpaid volunteers, is now serving more than
double the number of meals every day compared to the beginning of 2020. On an
average evening, over 250 meals are being served to people in the northeast who need
support. Clothes, toiletries, bedding and household essentials are also provided.

If you are familiar with NEoffers.co.uk, you will know we have conducted an annual
homeless campaign for many years. Last year, The People’s Kitchen were forced to run
a Christmas delivery service due to the Covid19 restrictions. This year, we are once
again able to open our doors meaning those in need of a Christmas Day meal can
enjoy it in a warm and friendly environment.

As part of our ‘Feed a Friend for a Fiver’ campaign you can donate just £5 to provide a threecourse Christmas day meal to someone less fortunate. You can also make more
than one donation if you wish, and there is also the option to select a monthly donation
to help the charity all year round.

With homelessness and mental health issues significantly increasing since the start of
the pandemic, it really is more important than ever for our community to come together
as one. Should we raise more than needed for the Christmas Day campaign, the money
will be spent on providing service users with warm clothes and warm food over the
winter period.

As well as donating, we need your help in spreading awareness for this campaign.
A simple share on social media may not sound a lot but it can help raise funds massively.
