Creative Ballet is a new series of inspiring dance classes in Newcastle for children aged 7-12, launching on Saturday 6 September 2025.
The weekly sessions, from touring dance theatre company balletLORENT, offer a refreshing alternative to traditional ballet, with a focus on storytelling, creativity, and the joy of movement.
The classes’ no uniforms, no exams, and no pressure ethos allows children to express themselves in a fun and welcoming environment. Every session nurtures imagination and confidence through dance, making Creative Ballet perfect for all young people who love to move, dream, and create.
Led by professional dance artists from balletLORENT, these classes are open to all children, with no previous dance experience required. balletLORENT is one of the UK’s leading contemporary dance theatre companies, known for their inclusive and magical performances for families.
Classes are at balletLORENT’s dance studio at John Marley Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 6TT.
Term begins on Saturday 6 September 2025 with sessions at 10.15-11.15am for 7-9s and 11.30-12.30pm for 10-12s.
