Vicky Pattison Launches Eldon Square’s Christmas Central Campaign with a Heartwarming Mission

Christmas

With gifts making up 58% of the average UK Christmas budget this year, finding the perfect present remains a priority for many shoppers. For TV personality Vicky Pattison, however, it’s not simply about how much you spend, but choosing thoughtful, personal gifts that truly mean something to the people receiving them.

The Geordie-born star said:

“We all have those people on our Christmas list that we really want to get the right gift for. Whether it’s a parent who says they don’t want anything, a friend who seems to have everything or someone you just want to make feel special, it is easy to overthink it.”

This Christmas, Vicky will return to her home city of Newcastle to help shoppers find the perfect gifts for the people still left on their lists, as she joins Eldon Square to launch its festive campaign, Christmas Central.

Located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, Eldon Square is a leading city-centre shopping, dining and leisure destination, bringing together more than 100 brands under one roof. From leading retailers including Next, River Island and H&M to a diverse mix of food and drink destinations, including Wingstop, Freight Island and Flight Club.

Vicky added:

“Having lots of choice in one place makes such a difference. You can browse, find something unexpected and leave knowing you have found a special gift for your loved one – while getting plenty of the rest of your Christmas plans sorted too.”

Taking place on Wednesday 4th November, Vicky’s visit will celebrate how Eldon Square’s wide mix of fashion, beauty, lifestyle and gifting retailers can help visitors get Christmas sorted in one city-centre trip – from presents and festive hosting touches to party-ready looks, food with friends and seasonal days out.

At lunchtime, Vicky will be outside Sephora and NEXT, meeting shoppers and helping them find the perfect presents for those who are hardest to buy for. Visitors will have the chance to meet Vicky, discover gift inspiration and get a head start on their Christmas shopping.

Christmas Central is all about making the season easier to enjoy, bringing together everything visitors need to shop, dine and celebrate in one place.

Vicky will also be spreading some festive cheer by supporting two fantastic local causes: Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas and Evry at Newcastle City Council, aiding babies, children and young people affected by hardship this Christmas. Thanks to the generosity of Eldon Square retailers, including John Lewis, Boots, MINISO and Menkind, donations will help make Christmas extra special for those who need it most across the North East.

The donations will help provide gifts for children, young people and families across the city who may otherwise face Christmas without something to open, helping to bring a little extra joy to the festive season.

Vicky Pattison added:

“Christmas is about making people feel loved, so knowing that the gifts we donate will support so many children across the North East means a great deal. The donation box will be here until Thursday 17th December, and any contributions would be greatly appreciated by local families. I’m really proud to be part of an initiative that helps bring joy to others at Christmas.”

Helen Cowie, Centre Director at Eldon Square, said:

“Vicky’s visit brings the spirit of Christmas Central to life: helping people to enjoy the season, while getting organised and finding everything they need in one place.

“We are delighted to welcome Vicky back to Newcastle, and especially proud that the activity will support Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas and Evry at Newcastle City Council, supporting babies, children and young people. At a time of year when a gift can mean so much, we hope the donations will make a heartfelt difference to young people and families across the city.”
