Forget socks, chocolate or beer – dads can now enjoy a chance to chill this Father’s Day thanks to a number of packages at an award-winning North East spa.
Ramside Spa, at Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa near Durham, has come up with a range of special pampering deals for men, which will make the perfect Father’s Day gift.
The Dads Day package – which costs £169 – includes a full day of spa access, a two course lunch in the spa’s Fusion Restaurant and the choice of a 55 minutes Elemis treatment.
The lucky recipient – who will also get access to the spa’s brand new plunge pool – can enjoy a deep tissue massage, a hot stones massage or couture touch -a bespoke treatment which combines massage with facial therapies.
For those with less time to spare, also on offer is the Fuel and Recharge package which – for £99 – gives dad one of the 55 minutes treatments plus a one course lunch.
Or for anyone really wanting to push the boat out, there’s Dad’s Night Off which gives two people an overnight stay in a premier room, full spa access, a one hour use of the infinity pool or a mud rasul plus a £25 per person dinner allowance for either Fusion or the hotel’s Rib Room Restaurant.
The spa has also created a bolt on package where, for an additional £70 for two people, visitors can get a one hour exclusive use of the balcony infinity pool plus a cocktail each.
Fay Pratt, spa director at Ramside, believes the packages have something for everyone.
“We have lots of men visiting the spa and loving the experience, so it makes total sense for us to create these fabulous packages which can solve the problem of what to buy dad for Father’s Day,” she said.
“We think most dads will appreciate the opportunity to relax in fantastic surroundings and as many of our packages are for two, he can also bring someone along to share the experience.”
