Heartfelt tributes have been pouring in for Peter Grant, a much-loved broadcaster whose voice became synonymous with the North East and Yorkshire’s airwaves.
Peter’s illustrious career spanned a host of popular stations, including Magic, Hallam FM, Durham FM, Radio Aire, TFM, and, more recently, BBC Radio Newcastle and Tees. His warmth and charisma also lit up television screens, where he presented programmes for Made in Tyne and Wear and delivered travel and weather updates on BBC Look North during breakfast broadcasts.
Beyond his work on air, Peter was a familiar face at charity and business events, where he brought his signature professionalism and charm as a host.
