MINI witches, wizards, ghosts and ghoulies can have some spook-tacular Halloween fun at a top Tyneside soft play venue.
The Playhouse, at Pizza Dough Co, within the Three Mile, at Gosforth, is holding two special parties on Thursday 31 October for the under eights.
And, among the surprises in store, are Halloween themed party games, a mini disco and a prize for the creepiest costume.
The parties will take place from 1pm to 3pm and from 4pm to 6pm and each will also include the chance to explore the multi-activity, jungle-themed soft play centre, adjoining the restaurant.
Children can clamber over netting and tackle a variety of safe and structured obstacles in a variety of inter-connected zones, always within sight of their parents or guardians.
Children and adults alike can also choose from a menu of snacks, pastries and hot drinks or extend their visit with a meal at Pizza Dough Co, owned by leading North East hospitality operator Malhotra Group plc.
Anna Middleton, business development manager, said The Playhouse Halloween parties will give children the perfect chance to “get into the spirit of Halloween.
“It’s a completely safe environment and we are laying on so much additional entertainment in the form of games and a disco that it really will be an afternoon to remember for them,” she said.
The Playhouse, which opened earlier this year, has become a firm favourite with families across Tyneside thanks to the flexibility it offers in terms of activities.
Along with the main, multi-sensory soft play centre there is a breakout area to give the under threes a little quiet time, complete with bean bag seating and an assortment of child friendly tv shows and films from a major streaming channel.
The Playhouse can also be hired for children’s parties, giving young hosts and their guests the chance to enjoy an hour-long play session, create their own pizzas, enjoy bottomless juice and make their own chef’s hats.
Tickets for the Halloween parties – which must be pre-booked – cost £15 per child and £15 per adult and each child will receive a party bag to take home at the end of their visit.
