The North of England Rose, Carnation and Sweet-Pea Horticultural Society (known more generally as Rosecarpe Horticultural Society) is hosting their annual Spring Bulb Show for 2025 to take place at Barley Mow Village Hall on Monday 7th April from 1.00pm – 2.30pm!

For exhibitors, it’s a chance to win vouchers for outstanding exhibits. For everyone else, it’s an opportunity to see some absolutely stunning presentations.

North of England Rosecarpe Horticultural Society was founded almost 80 years ago to encourage members of the community to cultivate flowers and other plants and almost 80 years later it is still going strong!

This is one of the Rosecarpe highlights of the year for both exhibitors and non-exhibitors and admission is FREE!

 How to enter:

Exhibitors may put in a maximum of two entries per class.

There are three different categories and these are: Daffodil (five different classes) Tulip (two different classes) Other (three different classes – Hyacinths, Alpine, Spring Display)

Staging from 1.00pm until 2.00pm. Judging will start at 2.00pm prompt. The decision of the judge is final.

No exhibit may be removed until 2.30pm when closure of the show will be announced.

As well as the Annual Spring Bulb Show the society has regular monthly meetings at which members discuss all things horticultural as well as having lectures and competitions. It’s a great group that offers the opportunity to meet new friends that share a passion for all-things gardening and horticulture.
