Roomzzz Aparthotels has celebrated a record-breaking Charity Week 2025, raising an impressive £56,173 in support of mental health and wellbeing causes.
The three-week fundraising campaign, held from 7–27 July 2025, saw teams across the Roomzzz network – including Newcastle City – join forces with guests and partners for a variety of fundraising events. A major highlight was Saturday 19 July, when 100% of profits from one night’s stays at all Roomzzz Aparthotels were donated, significantly boosting the final total.
Guests also joined in through fun, interactive activities, including:
• Golden Ticket Raffle – offering the chance to win 10 overnight stays at Roomzzz.
• Spin the Wheel Game – every raffle ticket included a free spin to win instant prizes such as free late check-outs, pamper packs, room upgrades, discounts, or mystery treats.
Funds will be donated via the Parklane Foundation to this year’s partner charities amongst others:
• Young Minds – supporting children and young people’s mental health across the UK.
• Getting Clean – a Leeds-based recovery charity empowering people through soap-making and life skills.
• Recovery Runners – a community running group helping people rebuild after addiction or life-changing challenges.
Roomzzz COO – Shaan Ahmed said:
“We are incredibly proud of the generosity shown by our teams, guests, and partners during Charity Week 2025. Together, we’ve raised a record amount that will directly support charities making a real impact on mental health and recovery across the UK.”
This year’s fundraising surpasses totals of £38,240 in 2023 and £45,000 in 2024, reflecting Roomzzz’s growing commitment to social impact.
