Razzamataz Newcastle Students Set to Shine in Disneyland Paris Parade for 25th Anniversary

As part of its incredible 25th anniversary celebrations at a network, Razzamataz Newcastle is delighted to announce students will be participating in an incredible trip to Disneyland Paris, where they will perform to a global audience in the iconic Disney parade.

The students at the Newcastle school will join other schools within the network to be part of this incredible visit to celebrate this significant milestone and provide a unique and memorable experience.

This trip is especially significant, as the first Disneyland Paris experience in 2017 was a massive success, and another was planned for 2020. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the 2020 visit had to be cancelled, making the 2025 return even more anticipated.

The cast at Razzamataz Newcastle has just been announced and rehearsals are now in full swing, with students learning new choreography and preparing to showcase their talents on an international stage.

“Disney holds a special place in everyone’s hearts, but to actually take part in the magic as a performer is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” say James & EsmĂ© Pennell-Tutill, Principals of Razzamataz Newcastle. “It’s something that will create memories they’ll cherish forever, and it really is a dream come true for many of our students and their families. We have been waiting a long time to return and we can’t wait to share this experience with our teachers, students and families.”

Razzamataz prides itself on not just exceptional performing arts training, but also incredible experiences that empower young people to unlock their limitless potential. By exposing them to exciting opportunities beyond their everyday routines, we help them see the world in a new light.

What makes this trip even more exciting is that children from as young as eight are allowed to attend, sowing the seeds of exciting possibilities from a very young age as James explains:

“We always strive to offer exciting opportunities for all of our students, and it’s wonderful to see the younger ones so enthusiastic about taking part in something this special. It’s an experience that will inspire them and build their confidence in ways that will last a lifetime.”

Over the past 25 years, Razzamataz has been at the forefront of performing arts education. In the last few years, the team has been championing a growing emphasis on personal development alongside exceptional training in dance, drama, and singing. Performing arts is hugely important in nurturing confidence, creativity, and resilience in children and young people, giving them the skills they need to excel not only on stage but in all areas of life, preparing them to thrive in whatever future paths they choose to follow.

Razzamataz Newcastle’s Disneyland Paris trip promises to be an extraordinary highlight of 2025, but there are plenty of others in the pipeline.

At Razzamataz Newcastle, there are lots of opportunities to perform locally, and in London’s West End, with many students securing professional work filming adverts, and performing professionally in theatre. The fun classes are for all children whatever their background or ability and there is a strong focus on building confidence and life skills. Classes start at age 2 and go on to 18 with additional classes available to prepare young people for vocational training.
