A North East digital agency with humble beginnings is now celebrating its continued international success.

Curtis Gabriel, based at Gosforth, was set up in 2014 at the start of the growth of digital marketing, by entrepreneurs, Simon Curtis and Roger Gabriel.

And from modest beginnings – working out of a kitchen in a local gym – the company now has 50 staff and a fast-growing international client base.

The fast growth has led to offices being opened in London, LA and Sydney, with a client base stretching across four continents and covering a whole range of sectors.

And the company has continued to prosper despite the challenges caused by Covid 19, capitalizing on the increased need for data-driven digital marketing.

Curtis Gabriel has cornered the market in providing outsourced social media services for international hospitality brands such as Hilton, as well as managing accounts for major transportation and corporate organisations across the globe.

“We took a gamble in the early days that social media was going to be the way forward,” said Simon.

“So we made it our mission to understand how it should be used long before many other companies, which has put us in a very strong position and has led to us building an enviable reputation.”

Despite the challenges facing the hospitality industry since the onset of Covid 19,  Curtis Gabriel has continued to work with its clients on strategies for the future, as well as creating free webinars supported by experts in the industry on how to build for the future.

Along with working with global brands, the company has also developed relationships with boutique businesses across a range of sectors, contributing to their development.

It has worked on behalf of law, accountancy and insurance firms, along with e-commerce operators, car dealerships, events, shopping centres, construction and SaaS (software as a service).

“As the world opens up once again and we continue to build our relationships with our existing clients, we are also looking forward to a period of continued growth,” said Simon.

“We may have come a long way in the last seven years but that doesn’t mean our values have changed – we still have that passion to make a difference for every one of our clients.”
