A total of 21 teams from businesses across the region teed off at Close House’s Lee Westwood Filly Course, raising funds to help the charity support people with complex disabilities and communication needs.
The event was hosted by Sky Sports presenter Pete Graves, with Pin Point Healthcare serving as headline sponsor and additional backing from hole sponsor ECBS.
A range of golfing competitions were on offer, including a £10,000 hole-in-one challenge, while young people supported by the Foundation shared their experiences and the impact of the charity.
Following a day on the course, sporting legends John Carver, Steve Watson and Shola Ameobi took part in a Q&A session with attendees.
John Preston, chief executive of the Percy Hedley Foundation said:

We are incredibly grateful to our business community for their continued partnership, which helps us deliver life-changing services and support to those who need it most.”
