The data was gathered by analysing over 700 million sweet orders from bakeries, ice cream shops, coffee shops and desserts from all restaurants menus. To adjust for population size, the data was then processed per capita to understand the true density of sweet dishes per location.

Just Eat has a diverse range of more than 100 cuisines on its platform, from grilled chicken, salads and vegan options to traditional curries, sushi or pizza. Since lockdown began, as well as seeking sweet treats and old favourites, Just Eat has seen a 50% rise in orders of food in the healthy, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free categories.
