A Newcastle-based marketing agency has expanded its team with two new appointments following a series of regional and national client wins.
Different Narrative has appointed Dikshita Chakraborty as Client Manager and University of Sunderland graduate Angel Shaji as Junior Designer.
The appointments strengthen the agency’s client services and creative teams as it continues to work with organisations including Go North East, Redcar and Cleveland Council, Cumbria Tourism and Visit Leeds.
Chakraborty brings experience from the offshore wind, advertising and events sectors. In her new role, she will manage client relationships and help coordinate projects from initial ideas through to delivery.
She said: “What excites me most is the variety. Different Narrative works with a diverse mix of clients, and that really appealed to me.
“I enjoy being the link that helps great work happen, connecting clients with the team and making sure projects move forward smoothly.”
Shaji joins the agency after graduating from the University of Sunderland and will work across branding, design and motion-led creative projects.

She said: “What stood out to me was the people. There is a real sense that everyone cares about the work they create and the impact it has.
“That is the kind of environment I wanted to be part of.”
Managing Director Kieron Goldborough said the appointments reflected growing demand for the agency’s work.
He said: “I am delighted to welcome Angel and Dikshita to the team. Finding the right people is never easy, but both will bring valuable skills and fresh ideas to the business.
“New appointments are a positive sign that the agency is moving in the right direction. As our client base grows, we need to continue investing in the people behind the work.”
The expansion follows several new account wins for the Newcastle company, including regional transport operator Go North East and Redcar and Cleveland Council.
The agency has also been developing its fixed-fee marketing service, which brings strategy, design and campaign support together under one agreement.
The new roles add to Newcastle’s growing creative and digital sector while giving a recent North East graduate an opportunity to begin her career with a local agency.
