Kite Packaging’s North East operations has donated £1,000 to local charity, Anxious Minds

The employee-owned packaging business’s North East operation was delighted to donate to Anxious Minds, a charity to improve the mental well-being of the people they serve in the North East.

Founded in 2015 stemming from the CEO’s personal experiences with anxiety and depression, they work to a strong set of core values and principles that are upheld in everything they offer. One of the aims of Anxious Minds is to connect individuals together, to take a positive step into a community of individuals who want to help.

The charity was delighted about the donation, and stressed how much it was appreciated, a spokesperson for the company said “Anxious Minds were delighted to discover that Kite is supporting the charity this year and have made a very kind donation. This donation will be used to support our Children’s Mental Health Service, providing counselling support for children from some of the most deprived areas in the North East. Their kindness and generosity will help towards changing so many lives for the better.

The Chief Officer of Anxious Minds said ‘During these difficult times support from local businesses will keep the charity open and provide support for our local communities, I would like to personally thank Kite for their generosity.”
