Katie Proctor has joined the rural team at youngsRPS in Hexham as a chartered surveyor and RICS-registered valuer. She has nearly five years of experience working with farmers and landowners on issues such as the Basic Payment Scheme, countryside stewardship applications and rural diversification grants.
Prior to joining youngsRPS, Proctor worked for a Cumbrian firm of land agents and surveyors, qualifying as a chartered surveyor and registered valuer in 2019. She is also a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. Managing director Graeme Bruce said Proctor’s knowledge and local connections would complement the growing team in Hexham.
youngsRPS is an independent firm of chartered surveyors, land and estate agents, and commercial surveyors. The company specializes in residential, commercial, and farm agency sales, as well as all aspects of farming and land management. youngsRPS operates throughout the UK, but primarily in the North of England and Scotland, with offices in Hexham, Sedgefield, Newcastle, Northallerton, and Dumfries. The origins of the business date back to nearly 140 years ago. In 2012, Youngs Chartered Surveyors merged with Rural Property Services to form youngsRPS, and in 2017, Stanton Mortimer, an established firm of chartered surveyors, became part of the youngsRPS group.
