Katie Proctor has joined the rural team at youngsRPS in Hexham as a chartered surveyor and RICS-registered valuer. She has nearly five years of experience working with farmers and landowners on issues such as the Basic Payment Scheme, countryside stewardship applications and rural diversification grants.

Prior to joining youngsRPS, Proctor worked for a Cumbrian firm of land agents and surveyors, qualifying as a chartered surveyor and registered valuer in 2019. She is also a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. Managing director Graeme Bruce said Proctor’s knowledge and local connections would complement the growing team in Hexham.
