Since their formation in early 2006, Gentleman’s Dub Club have made a name for themselves as one of the most respected names in dub/reggae music.

GDC have been on tour for over a decade, are festival favourites across the UK and Europe, and they are ending this particular tour with a bang in Newcastle at the Boiler Shop on March 1st, so get your tickets here to avoid standing outside in the rain, thinking of what could have been.

Vocalist Jonathan Scratchley has said on plans for the upcoming dates, “We will be doing a new set, with a few new tunes, to add to the raucous high-tempo love affair we have built our community on….every show we play has this enlightening energy to it, so above all we just feel blessed to be able to share the journey with so many.”

Speaking about their recent tour with reggae legends, UB40, Scratchley said, “performing in front of an audience who fell in love with this music 20 years before we did gave us a sense of our place in this world. It has helped us look at our own music in relation to what they have achieved and how we can communicate our own sound. They know how to tour!”
