Local housing and support organisation, Tyne Housing sees new organisational growth and appointed Francis Clarke as Director of Finance to help.

Francis joins Tyne with over 20 years experience in financial management and business leadership. For the past 12 years he’s held senior roles in the finance and commercial teams at one of the UK’s largest housing providers Home Group.

Francis, who lives in Cullercoats, North Tyneside said, “I’m thrilled to be joining an organisation that has its roots firmly planted here in the North East. The current crisis has shown us how the work Tyne does in supporting our region’s most vulnerable is more important than ever.”

“I’m looking forward to working alongside the team to help maximise the experience and expertise of the organisation in order to support its next phase of growth.”

Francis will head up Tyne’s finance department, working closely with CEO, Steve Mckinlay and the business development team.

Steve McKinlay, CEO at Tyne Housing said, “This is a big step in the right direction for Tyne. We’ve been working incredibly hard to shape the future of the organisation, looking at how we can best use the resources and expertise we have to provide more opportunity and support for those most vulnerable here in the North East.”

“This strengthening of our senior management team means we now have the right resource and expertise in place to enable us to look beyond the current crisis and plan strategically for Tyne’s future. We’re focussing on how we can establish long-term high-quality services that will help make our region a better place for all.”
