Cheryl Tanner Marks International Women’s Day with Launch of North Tyneside Menopause Studio

North Tyneside Heart of the Community award winner Cheryl Tanner will officially launch her specialist menopause strength studio at the Linskill Centre in North Shields on International Women’s Day, Sunday 8th March from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

The new studio, based within the Linskill Centre charity, will provide accessible strength training to support women’s health, confidence, and long-term wellbeing in a welcoming community setting.

The launch event will offer an opportunity for the community to visit the studio, learn about the benefits of strength training during midlife and menopause, and celebrate International Women’s Day. The event will also help raise awareness and support for women’s wellbeing initiatives within Linskill.

Cheryl said:

“Winning the Heart of the Community award was incredibly meaningful, and opening this studio at Linskill allows me to continue supporting women in building strength, confidence, and resilience. Launching on International Women’s Day reflects the importance of investing in women’s health and creating supportive community spaces.”

Cheryl’s work focuses on helping women improve strength, energy, and confidence, and she hopes the new space will support even more women across North Tyneside.
